Simultaneously, the bank needed to migrate their mobile banking app to React Native to eliminate the cost and complexity of maintaining separate native codebases for iOS and Android — without disrupting service for millions of active users.

The Solution

Facial recognition implementation and technology migration

We integrated a specialized facial recognition SDK that met banking-grade security requirements, implementing it alongside the existing authentication flow so users could seamlessly transition to biometric verification. The SDK handled liveness detection, anti-spoofing, and real-time face matching — all within strict latency requirements.

For the React Native migration, we rebuilt core banking features in a cross-platform architecture while maintaining native modules for performance-critical operations in Swift and Kotlin.
